Sponsoring as a marketplace: search regionally, close digitally, keep every contract in view.

The starting point
Club sponsoring traditionally runs on personal contacts: a board member knows someone who knows someone. Regional engagement is attractive for businesses — but there's no place to find matching clubs, events, streamers or podcasts in their area.
Motivation4Teams closes that gap as a two-sided marketplace: sponsors discover organizations by postal code, organizations present their sponsoring packages — from youth teams to festivals.
The challenge
A marketplace has to convince two audiences at once — and it lives on trust between strangers. Organizations must be genuine (verification with document review), agreements traceable (a central messaging system) and contracts binding (a complete lifecycle from initiation to renewal).
Add the business model: free to start, no base fee, commission only on success — which demands payment processing that settles commissions automatically instead of chasing invoices.
Solution & execution
From the role model to a running platform — in four steps.
- 01 · Concept
Two roles, one marketplace
A product concept with two separate funnels: sponsors register with instant activation, organizations go through verification with document upload and review. Each role gets exactly the tools it needs.

Complexity behind a clear surface
A dashboard with a recommendation box and prioritized tasks, search with postal-code filtering, profiles with sponsoring packages. The platform feels simple even though a complete sponsoring lifecycle runs underneath.

Full-stack with realtime and payments
Supabase for auth, database and realtime messaging, Stripe Connect for commission-based payment processing, in-app and email notifications, contract management with automatic renewal reminders — hardened with a strict content security policy.

Growing in production
Monitoring with Sentry, GDPR-compliant consent management, a content strategy with guide articles around club sponsoring — the platform keeps evolving and being marketed.
