Fino Watches — Luxury watches & trade
01
Context

The starting point

Fino Watches buys and sells premium watches in Baden-Baden — Rolex, Cartier, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe. A business built on trust and discretion, backed by signals like Chrono24 Trusted Seller status.

What was needed was a digital presence on the level of the merchandise: a website that credibly carries the premium segment and makes selling a watch as easy as sending a message.

02
Challenge

The challenge

The biggest hurdle in watch buying is the first step: nobody just mails in their Rolex. The path to a valuation had to be digital, low-threshold and still trustworthy — sending photos instead of handing over the watch.

Technically that means: reliably accepting large phone photos without failing uploads — and protecting the form against spam without annoying honest sellers with captchas. Plus full bilingualism for international clients.

Process

Solution & execution

From building trust to the selling funnel — in four steps.

  1. 01 · Discovery

    Two paths, one goal

Structured the offering into two clear funnels: “sell your watch” (buying with photo valuation) and “search order” (having a dream watch sourced through the network). Every page leads to exactly one action, without detours.

  2. 02 · Design

    Dark, calm, premium

A dark, reduced layout with large imagery — the watches take center stage while the design steps back. Fully bilingual in German and English, with trust elements in the right places.

  3. 03 · Development

    Photo submissions that actually arrive

The selling form accepts photos up to 50 MB and automatically compresses them in the browser — no failed uploads, no frustrated sellers. Spam protection via an invisible honeypot instead of a captcha, email delivery straight through the company's own SMTP server.

  4. 04 · Launch

    Findable in Baden-Baden

An SEO foundation with a clean canonical domain, meta structure and a local focus on Baden-Baden. Plus the direct WhatsApp channel — inquiries are usually answered within an hour.

The results

The website is live and bundles every channel: selling inquiries with photos arrive structured through the form, alongside direct contact via WhatsApp, phone and email.

The presence carries the premium image of the business — from the first impression to the terms page covering trade on platforms like Chrono24.
